Very technical sales, however, the Sales Engineers are best in class and are very generous with their time. Deal cycles range from 1month to - 18months. Not an ideal company if you tend to jump Sales roles every 12months. The longer deal cycles do come with substantial pay off so it's worth the wait. MongoDB has an extremely strict sales process so you can't go rogue but an ideal environment if you're keen to sharpen your sales skills and develop professionally.
