Since starting at monstercam/marine concepts. I have witnessed 30+ people contractors and employed sacked for varying reasons most fabricated some within weeks of starting or months later. There is a habit of a particular pair of team leaders to get all of their crew to make complaints to management in order to push people out that they dont like. I saw a contractor get sacked after talking to a team leader about a problem he was having with another person, same day the whole group made complaints to management to get the guy sacked.
