Vantaggi

- Team members were all good people doing their best. Little to no office drama. - Management had the intention of doing the right things. - I had salary increases that generally matched the cost of living the years I worked there. (In previous years, I'm told they would go years at a time without an increase, and also had gone through harsh layoffs at least once).

Svantaggi

- Management consistently made decisions that did not take their employees into account. When simple decisions that would have been a net benefit for their employees, they would without fail do the opposite. After working from home for 2 years during the pandemic and proving they enjoyed and thrived under the WFH model, Moore decided to begin repealing the option without providing any concrete reasoning. - Despite being fully aware of employees suffering from burnout due to exponentially increasing workload, management made no effort to better distribute, or preemptively hire new employees to deal with the increase. This lead to numerous of my best team members quitting during my 5 years there to seek employment at a job that actually valued their efforts. This in turn left us short staffed for months at a time, with Moore dragging it's feet on bringing the staffing shortage back up to previous levels, much less to the levels required for the new workload. - There is an "old-fashioned" viewpoint from management, to put it kindly. Political signs adorn their lawn during election periods. Mental health benefits are non-existent in the benefits package. In one of the most disappointing examples of this, when one of our best and brightest shining employees expressed a need for an adjusted working situation upon a doctor's recommendation to help manage their mental health, Moore denied the request and instead forced them to take an indefinite leave of absence. Decisions like this have consistently lead to Moore losing talented employees, and the few long tenured ones that they manage to keep are jaded and speak poorly of management's decision-making abilities. - During my required 3 week notice prior to leaving, at no point was I requested to do an exit interview. While I doubt my views would've lead to any real action from them if they had bothered to listen, I believe it was a show of their true feelings towards their employees to not even take the time to ask. - In negotiations regarding salary, all of their answers (which were consistently "no's") indicated that regardless of performance, if they could find a reason to pay us less, they would take that opportunity. It was at this point I decided to begin looking elsewhere for employment as it was clear I could have no good future at an employer like this.

Vantaggi

benefits package wasn't bad, wages were about middle ground

Svantaggi

very disorganized onboarding, training isn't a thought out process, distinct separation between office and production workers, union environment - can be negative, not a lot of upward job positions offered, performance management very subjective/not discussed until 'yearly' review
