Even if you work hard and do way more than your job description they aren’t going to promote you until you threaten to leave. People on my team were promoted who had been stealing other team members work and taking credit for it. Despite bringing this up to management that person still received a promotion because they threatened to leave because they were “overworked”. Everyone I started with has left the company and some of their replacements even left before I did. Huge turnover issue because people aren’t paid well or moved up the ladder.
