Large company working in many different areas of construction. (Civil, Wind, Solar, High Voltage Transmission, Stadiums, General commercial and industrial construction) If you are valuable you have opportunities to move from group to group if you don’t your current work, position, leadership, if things get slow in your area etc. Work life balance is excellent. If you are in the “in” crowd or someone recognizes your value they will make roles/job titles to keep furthering your career and to keep you employed there.

It’s a large company. Deal with corporate one decision for all, lots of rules. Lots of politics and nepotism. Pay is on title and if you aren’t in the “in” group you get tiny yearly raises with a 3-5 year courtesy title bump. If your title isn’t high enough your voice is not heard. Lots of turnover. I don’t think it’s one reason but probably 20 little things and people leave. A lot.
