Good pay and benefits overshadowed by poor management - Recensione dipendente - CNC Lathe Operator presso Motor Controls

It's been a great place to work - lots of great colleagues. For the most part, I feel heard, but it is sometimes hard to get through to the senior management, as they aren't always present.

While it is starting to change, there is still a disparity in employees' ages. So many are in their 50s and older, while few are younger. I think it would be great to have a mentoring program that encourages workers to level up, especially since the company has a huge number of long-term employees. As these long-term employees retire, the company's future success will greatly benefit. Mentors shouldn't advise their own employees but others who want to rise within the company, potentially to different departments. It is hard to keep up with the steep rise in inflation, so make sure wages/salaries are aligned with the market.

Great hours, and a decent quarterly bonus. (pro and con, no drug testing to hire on). Monday to Thursday 10 hour shift work week is great, but lunch is 30 min so very short for the amount of hours.

Management is complete garbage. Both department and project management is lacking and blame is put on the workers. No room for advancement of any kind. You can get away with anything if your buddy buddy with managers and supervisors. Medical is awful for family members.
