Mott MacDonald has designed stellar engineering projects in the US and around the world. It is full of creative and dedicated engineers and others. Beginning in January 2022, the corporate culture changed for the worse. New CEOs took over in London and the US, and the company announced it would double revenue in five years and implement AI. Marketing staff in London were cut drastically and US staff were made to use micromanagement software that breaks simple tasks into dozens of steps, each needed to be logged and approved. Despite public statements about sustainability and opposition to slave labor, my questions about Mott MacDonald's involvement in the notorious NEOM/The Line project in Saudi Arabia (more than 20,000 migrant workers reported dead) were shut down and I was invited to leave.
