Vantaggi
-You're in New York City. (Well actually you live in New Jersey, but most jobs and most of your time will be spent in NYC). Despite all the negatives, this is still a pretty swell positive. If you just want to get to the United States for a year, use NYC as a launchpad, network like crazy, and find some great opportunities in the US or UK, then sure apply. Just be prepared to have to tolerate the worst Organisation I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Svantaggi
-I agree with almost every other negative comment on Glassdoor. Jobs are tedious, pay is dismal, the education aspect of the programme is woeful. Why any higher education institution would allow their name to be attached to this joke of a course I do not know. (The PGC, MA and MBA programmes are awful. If you actually want education from this experience, apply to an actual University in your home country or a University in the States, many offer great scholarships) -The Mountbatten Institute and their staff have a siege mentality due to their declining revenues and inability to attract both new corporate clients and new trainees. The mentality results in a thoroughly intransigent organisation which refuses to give any ground or concede on any issue you may raise with them. They have a bizarre fear of being seen as 'losing' to the cohort or individuals; it makes them unnecessarily unreasonable and petty in their interactions with the trainees.
