The following is an account of my experience at N-zone: I was hired to be a part of N-zone's graphical team. However, I soon realized that I was the only member of this team. Although I joined as a junior, I quickly found myself shouldering the responsibilities of a senior Artistic Director for an exceptionally ambitious project. To work in Belgium, I relocated from France along with my wife. My efforts didn't meet the CEO's expectations, and any attempts to express my perspective were overshadowed by the CEO's and project manager's enormous egos. Being a junior, I was often expected to keep quiet and simply follow instructions. Gradually, all my work came under scrutiny from every member of the company, and my input was disregarded. Despite giving my best, I was informed one day by the CEO that I would have to leave the company. This decision came suddenly, without a letter or prior meeting. It seemed that I wasn't considered well-integrated into the team, which was confusing since just the week before, my wife's birthday was celebrated with all employees and their partners at our home. We also had regular friendly gatherings, so I was perplexed by the CEO's statement. Due to the financial strain caused by relocating to Belgium for this job, I practically pleaded with the CEO to let me keep my position. For months on end, I remained in a state of uncertainty, not knowing whether I would continue my employment. This situation persisted from early October 2022 to May 2023. Finally, after my girlfriend and I moved back to France, I mustered the courage to inform the CEO that I had had enough. This unfortunate experience has left my life in disarray. I've had to move back in with my mother, and financially, I'm reeling from two relocations within a single year. I cannot recommend this company to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I strongly advise you to turn your car around and drive away – it's better to avoid this troublesome situation altogether, you will dodge a mean bullet.
