- The salary is slightly above than in other outsource companies. However, it could be attributed to the location of the head office -- it’s Malta and taxes here are quite low. - When one of the colleagues joined the army, N-iX continued to pay 50% of his salary. However, I’m not sure it lasted for more than a half of the year. - The accountant department works perfectly.

- For Ukrainian employees, there are only 10 days of paid leave, 10 days of unpaid leave, and 10 sick leave days. If you need more, you will have to quit and find another job. Also, I remember a girl from my project who asked to go on maternity leave, but she was fired. - The bench is not only unpaid but also stopped existing entirely after the war started. If there is no other project for you, you get fired. - When employees asked why the Polish N-iX office had 20 days of paid leave, while the Ukrainian office had only 10, they suggested to work on public holidays and then use those days as paid leave (it’s hilarious, isn’t it?). - Insurance is not fully covered, but only partially. If you are Ukrainian and work for this company outside of Ukraine, insurance is not provided at all. - At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, N-iX boasted having donated a large sum of money, but in fact, these were donations from employees, not from the company’s budget. - On my project, the customer made extremely strange decisions. For example, instead of hiring at least one DevOps, they hired 10 trainees. As a result, it was impossible to deploy anything properly, and there was a lot of extra work. - After the end of the 2023 financial year, the customer began to micromanage us, demanding weekly reports and hourly updates in the time tracker, and then they eliminated those they didn’t like. - Some colleagues with Senior or Lead titles could be quite arrogant towards me or other colleagues, and they sometimes made toxic comments. For example, when I relocated abroad from Ukraine due to the war and notified the Team Leader that I would have a doctor appointment, I was asked, “Did you relocate to work or to be sick?” Another example is when my colleague asked a technical question in the common channel, and one of the Seniors replied that the inquirer should have passed a certification instead of asking such a primitive question. Very productive workflow I should admit. - Your opportunity to growth strongly depends on the customer. In my case, I had to perform “data plumbing” instead of a proper Data Engineering for almost two years. - The only thing I regret is that I didn’t quit earlier.

HHRR are very nice & supportive.. which is the only thing worth at the company

Management is crazy and has lost direction. Delivery is pretty bad; different teams cannibalise to get projects. I had never seen something like that... I don't recommend it. If sales fail to get new projects, you'll be fired next month. No bench at all.
