Great office location (pre-COVID-19), salaries and benefits are fine. New CEO joined two years ago, has strong industry and association experience and vision, and is attempting to right a drifting ship, and it's proving to be challenging.

So much turmoil and restructuring, and yet still dealing with a fair amount of "this is how we've always done it" attitude. Recent layoffs were particularly challenging, losing significant institutional memory along with some highly-respected staff. And yet a few have managed to get coveted promotions - it all depends on which team you are on. Recent layoffs have left many doing multiple jobs, with seemingly little realization by leadership that certain tasks need to have someone own them.
Employee benefits have been cut significantly and repeatedly over the last several years. The retirement contribution had been amazing, now it's just average.
