Svantaggi
The organization has every imaginable flaw that results from too much bureaucracy alongside the deepest of old boys club mentalities. It's bloated with middle-management, and your career trajectory is determined far more by politics than by your work performance. Pay is openly acknowledged by leadership to be below-market, but the attitude is that employees should just be grateful for the opportunity. Also, don't expect free tickets or behind the scenes perks or anything. That's actually strictly against the rules... unless you're an executive of course because then the rules don't apply. In particular, the LA office should be avoided. The place is in turmoil and has been for years. Over the last six years, half a dozen individuals have exited or been replaced as head of that office and not a single VP who was there as recently as three years ago is still employed at the NFL. The west coast operation is simply an afterthought within the organization because anyone of significance is in NY, and so it just winds up being out of sight and out of mind. The good employees in LA who can do better leave, and the bad ones who can't do any better stay, creating a downward spiral that will probably result in the whole operation getting outsourced to a real media company in the next few years.
