Vantaggi

- The pay is good if you have been with the company for a while - Work is stable at least until the contract runs out

Svantaggi

- Benefits have gone downhill over the years, PTO accumalation was decreased a few years back - You start out with 0 hours of vacation time, which sucks when when other contracting companies will start you out with 4-5 weeks of PTO. - Training is virtually non-existent unless you are in the good old boys club. You are expected to learn what you need on your own. - If you are new, you are going to get shafted on pay; the days of decent starting pay are over. - The only raise you will see is an annual merit increase of up to a whopping 3%. If you want more than that, you'll have to find another job within the company or leave altogether. - It can be pretty hard to get hold of the company's HR department when you need them, especially since they never seem to answer their phones.

Vantaggi

I was fortunate enough to work in one of the better business units, which meant working with very knowledgeable people and a free-flowing exchange of ideas and information. Good people, good morale, flexible hours, competitive salary.

Svantaggi

Current/new employees are paying for the mistakes the company made in the past. In recent years, the company promoted people simply for being on the payroll longer than others, that logic has come back to haunt them. Employees who have worked hard to achieve industry certifications and/or Bachelor's/Master's degrees are barely even recognized let alone promoted. Those that are left behind are hoarding information and stonewalling processes in an effort to keep their jobs.
