no raises in 5 years!?! - Recensione dipendente - Dipendente anonimo presso NOV

There have been no raises in 5 years for office employees!?! Union workers are not subject to this, and would never put up with it. From what I have been told, this is the policy of NOV and the oil industry in general. I don't buy this, and as a result of the lack of raises many good employees have left the company. NOV bought out Chemineer/Robbins and Myers about 5 years ago, and this wasn't the policy previously. The only way to get a raise is to be promoted, and there is very limited opportunity for this. Often, they don't promote from within the organization, so loyalty is not being encouraged.
