Not a bad place to work if you're interested in the oil and gas industry. I worked there only a very short time as I didn't feel it was a good fit for me, but NOV as a company seemed fairly decent. Co-workers were friendly and helpful, although not much training was provided. It was really a learn-as-you-go kind of job. Pay was standard for the industry. Benefits provided after 3 months. Very big company with many different divisions, various room for advancement.

Managers didn't seem to be around often, which could be good or bad depending on your viewpoint. You were required to work overtime and on-call on weekends. Long hours. No flexibility with hours or break times.
