The Director of Education who is one of the owners, is nice, friendly and helpful. Other non-management staff is welcoming and kind. Location in Reston is convenient with plenty of parking.

Bosses do not communicate well, have difficulty transitioning as technology advances and lack clear directions and job roles for employees who are not tutors. The worst part was the owners did a bait and switch with me before paying me off due to Covid-19. Basically, in order to avoid unemployment costs, they offered me a job at five hours a week with 1/2 my normal rate of pay. I found other websites describing the owners having the same tactic with other employees and am so disappointed that I chose to move jobs for them! During the interview process, owners were friendly and seemed to be super supportive of staff. However, I quickly found that communication was terrible and inconsistent, lack of proper support for increased outreach and marketing as well as unrealistic expectations for employees. One of my co-workers was let go then brought back at the whim of owners. This creates lack of loyalty and disinterest in success among workers. Also, The computers and printers are ancient but location is nice.
