Let salespeople be creative with product pricing without always asking for approval from management. No report writing and they do not micro-manage field reps.

Svantaggi

Very volume based with some salespeople and not with others. Salary and commission compensation is different with every rep.Some employees get away without doing very little work and some work very hard and it is not appreciated. No consistency managing employees.

I enjoyed my time working here. My co-workers were friendly and the job was well paced. They expect you to do work and do as best you can but that's what you should be expected of at any job.

Management can be a bit "clicky" at times. They tend to play favorites.

NRF distributors is a flooring and wood holding company that specializes in shipping tile and wood products. If you are looking for a rewarding career this place isnt it. HR states that they have a close near 100% employee retention rate. In an ideal economy (not in maine) this would be excellent. However , the reason they keep employees so long is they are all boomers and if they left NRF they would have to face the outside world of technology and modern day business which this place is not and would almost certainly be uncomfortable with this.

managers can be rude , employees think they know more than those who are educated do.
