Svantaggi
Bottom line, everyone who works here is too young or inexperienced. They do not carry any history in corporate in entrepreneurship. Look up their backgrounds. Trust me, leading a program without any actual experience eventually shine through. There's always one question will make everyone question the validity of the business. The structure of the program itself is offensive. Participants are meant to raise no less than 500K. Most of these companies are already making revenue and the program cannot cater to market penetration. Mentors get constant complaints about this. I've seen them form one decent relationship and that was Google, but it's still superficial. Google does it to keep an eye on the pulse. People feel important because they are in a Google building. It's all about being flashy when no one in business really cares. I've come to realize that NUMA's network is weak. It's a NY centric with no real connections to the rest of the US. There is no way a company like this has reach into so many verticals and its model is heavily dependent on the mentors. The students constantly complain about the agenda and I am always asked to teach them something that is not on the curriculum. This is your job, not mine. We volunteer. Get it together! At the very least, set expectations that our time is not to be messed with. Last minute cancellations by participants is unacceptable. You want my time, but waste my time.
