Poster papers at conferences strictly prohibited (unless you have your own funding). iv) Number of publications considered much more important than quality of publications. v) Administration often forces you to work on their pet projects rather than on your own research. vi) Salaries are way too low, even lower than other Pakistani universities. vii) Main Office often issues orders about how to conduct research and supervise students which are actually detrimental to the research culture.
