Unfortunately there was zero clarity on the direction of the org my entire time here. A lot of empty promises were made, leading to multiple large projects that were at 80-90% completion getting axed after previously being told it was the "new direction." Can't express enough how poorly mismanaged this org is. I wish I was exagerrating, but I have worked at many NGOs and this surpasses anything I've ever experienced before (and everyone knows NGOs are notoriously chaotic). Not many at the top of the org chart have relevant skills/experience for the position, they just happen to have long friendships with CEO, so get to stick around. Overall very toxic.
