Smart people (yes, as a con) think they know everything and don't look at industry standards for processes (we know better than the rest mentality). Since results aren't met, management changes things up, but again to their point of view. Not consulting with people that have external experience and sometimes without a thought out plan. Field sales are pretty much on their own to make quota. Managers are more interested in metrics right now.
