I worked at this company for a very short period as a Facilitator and left after two days due to my experience.
During my time there, I found that there was limited clarity around expectations for the role and how support workers were integrated into the wider team.
Communication was very limited , and there was no structured guidance provided at the start, which made it difficult to understand day-to-day responsibilities.
Given the nature of the role in a college environment, I would have expected a clearer induction process and more consistent communication regarding safeguarding procedures, responsibilities, and team working practices.
Based on my brief experience, I would encourage others considering similar support roles to ensure they are comfortable with the level of structure and guidance provided.
