It's become clear that Daniel and Mate's Reach has far exceeded their grasp, and their ambition will be NI's downfall. The worst part is that they know they need help to achieve their impossible 'vision' but they keep hiring expensive, useless clowns who don't understand anything about the Music Tech Industry, and give them ridiculous 'Chief Whatever Officer' titles, instead of listening to their staff. In fairness, Daniel and Mate have had a long history of promoting 'yes-men' to their level of incompetence, so the advice they've always received has always been exactly what they wanted to hear. Thus, we find ourselves at a point where the only thing they can do to avoid sinking is to cut 30% of the staff with no notice, and somehow they still don't have even the beginning of an idea of how to get out of this mess. It's a real shame that it has come to this, NI could have really been something great but it's pretty clear that Daniel, Mate and the rest of the board are going to drive this company into the ground.
