Vantaggi
- Some colleagues are great and really good to work with, they care about the customer experience and want to get the job done efficiently. - Most of the residents are amazing and support you more than the managers and Directors do. - Baptism of fire for those trying to gain first experience within property management. You will learn a lot but with little to no support. You can then take that experience with you to better companies.
Svantaggi
This company does not respect their hard working staff and does not reward accordingly, a pat on the back is the most you will get if you're lucky. I have never had so many different managers in such a short period of time. In the space of almost 3 years working there I had 4 Managers, all of whom left on their own terms. If I had stayed there fot another month I would have had 5 managers who I would have to train. - No pay review or pay rise in 3 years working there, even though we were the only people on site during lockdowns whilst the managers 'worked' from home. when I queried about a pay rise I was asked to justify why I deserved one. - We had our first in-house maintenance technician; 3 years after the site opened. Before this we had to become a jack of all trades; cleaning, maintenance, leasing, property management, manager, complaints handlers, marketing, and we were expected to train every new start that joined. These do not fall under a Leasing Professional's job role. - We've had 3 facilities managers in 3 years as the others had enough and left. Until recently, there were no tools for the maintenance technician to use because the company eIther couldn't afford it or simply had not thought about it. - Our bonuses/commission were taken away without warning and, after we queried it, they told us they will think about returning it. It never never did. - No promotions or growth within the company. I was told if I wanted a promotion I would need to consider moving my life out of London to Leeds or Milton Keynes. Meanwhile upper management had no problems being promoted further without having to shift their lives. Some were able to work from home too. - Health and safety was not a priority for staff. security doors and cameras at the site I worked at were always broken and was an obvious risk during night shifts. I reported this numerous times but was told it would get done eventually. 3 years later and the doors are still broken. - HR were unapproachable, very condescending, disrespectful, and had no intent to address ailing staff mental health and wellbeing especially after lockdowns, and covid - plus increased workloads due to staff leaving. - Nepotism - a lot of the Directors friends have been put in higher positions within the company despite them proclaiming that they prefer to promote from within. utter nonsense and so obvious when all staff can see what's going on. - Upon leaving I had No exit interview and no word from the Director to thank us for all the hard work we did. Clearly, at Native you are just a number and nothing more. Stay away, there are much better companies out there.
