They support personal growth, and have great pay and benefits for this type of position in the non-profit world, not to mention the opportunity to work in some of the most beautiful locations in the world. I am so grateful for my experience with the organization.

      The job can become repetitive and there are very limited opportunities for upward mobility. The close-knit insular culture can lead to favorites among staff and these opinions are factored into promotions.

      Great place to work if you want to be outside with kids and like to teach! Lots of freedom in planning activities. Staff housing is provided. Mostly consistent work with some opportunities to delve into other departments.

      The voices of negative educators are louder than the voices of happy ones. It can be challenging to find peace and rest at home when you live in the same community with a coworker who is unhappy. Pay could be better, but this is true for most jobs in this field.
