Better than working at Tim Horton.

This place is… a place. You go there, you work, you leave. Or sometimes you leave before you think you would because, well, things happen. Management is there, doing whatever it is they do. Training exists, I guess, but mostly in a ‘good luck in a few weeks’ kind of way. Otherwise… X. The coffee machine works, so that’s a plus. They reel you in with a high salary—way higher than you’d get elsewhere—so once you're in, you feel stuck. You start thinking, ‘Maybe I can tolerate this,’ until you realize you’re just trading your sanity for a paycheck. By then, it’s too late. And if that wasn’t bad enough, leadership is a disaster. There’s always that one person—the one nobody likes, who somehow keeps continues despite being completely useless. Bets were made for how long this person would last. Money was lost. You’ll spend half your time wondering how someone so incompetent has so much power, and the other half wishing they’d just disappear like the rest did. So many quit or got fired so their senior ‘leadership’ is unstable.
