Since it is a high end store, most of the customers are fairly well educated, deeming them socially and economically happy. I found them easier to deal with on the whole.

Working in close quarters with your commissioned rivals can breed animosity. This is something that management should work to realign. Hours are too long, lunches should be half hour instead of an hour. Nine hours is too long to be at the store, workers need more time to refresh for the next day's opportunities.

A toxic environment where sales are almost zero because vendors are pulling their product off the shelf because their bills aren’t getting paid. They’re in the middle of coming out of a bankruptcy , if a client does come in, we usually don’t have the product to sell them ,only lines who are partially thriving is fragrance ! The hours are terrible. You get off work at nine and you’re expected to be back at 9:30 AM.
