Vantaggi
Compensation and benefits are good. Lots of work flexibility in terms of work from home or office and when you come-and-go. Pockets of genuinely nice- and smart people but, alas, that population seems to be declining.
Svantaggi
I was there for a number of years and company has become much more political over that time. Senior executives very much focused on their BU fiefdoms and careers more than helping NetApp succeed as a whole. Culture of inclusive-, consensus management has degraded into something worthless: lots of discussion and passive-aggressive behavior with slow- or timid decision-making. Company can't seem to place bold bets to pivot away from competency selling on-premises hardware systems. Admittedly executing very well in that space but, alas, that's ultimately a declining market. Work/life balance is great in some groups but terrible in others. Some groups require weekly- or even daily interaction between the U.S. and India that can be very painful both from a work/life balance perspective and work productivity perspective.
