Vantaggi

Salary was decent for a junior / newbie position and competitive at the beginning. Salary growth stagnated quickly, and promised raises were repeatedly postponed without clear reasons.

Svantaggi

As a former QA Engineer, my experience at Netrom was heavily impacted by poor management decisions. I was abruptly assigned to two projects at the same time, without proper onboarding, prioritization, or realistic expectations. Transparency was close to zero — decisions were made behind closed doors and communicated last minute, if at all. Management is the biggest weakness here. I was thrown into two projects simultaneously as a QA Engineer, with no clear direction, support, or alignment on priorities. Expectations were high, but communication and transparency were nonexistent. The company strongly favors older employees, who are constantly glorified, while newer hires are overlooked and overloaded. Feedback feels one-sided, and concerns raised by employees are ignored. Unfortunately, this environment discourages growth and accountability and makes it difficult to stay motivated.

Vantaggi

It’s a good place for a first job, especially if you’re a student. There are many hardworking seniors eager to help you grow. The projects are smaller but diverse, using both older and newer tools. The work schedule is flexible for students—you can attend labs and exams without any issues.

Svantaggi

- No private health inssurance - Vacation is taken collectively. The company shuts down for two weeks in the summer and two weeks in the winter, and you’re required to take your vacation during the voted periods. - After you move up to mid-level, the workload increases significantly, and the few vacation days left are hard to get approved. - Another downside is the lack of transparency in the promotion process—there’s no clear job description, salary ranges, or career path
