I came to Netlify having heard great things about the culture, and honestly expected reality to fall a bit short. However, after joining I found that reality exceeded what I'd heard. It's a pleasure working with such a great team.
The people here are exceptional: low ego, highly collaborative, and genuinely invested in each other's success. That starts at the top. The senior leadership team is approachable, supportive, and sets a tone that carries throughout the org. Cross-team collaboration isn't something you have to fight for, it's just how things work.
Netlify has been remote-first since day one, and it shows. The processes and culture around distributed work are mature and thoughtful, which makes onboarding smooth and day-to-day coordination easy regardless of where you are.
What also stands out is the clarity of direction. There's a clear product strategy, a large and growing market, and a real sense that the work matters. Engineers are trusted to own their domains and run with hard problems. For me personally, this role has been one of the biggest growth opportunities of my career.
If a friend asked me whether they should join Netlify, I'd tell them yes without hesitation.
