Customer expectations need to be managed better with large customer accounts by customer facing personnel because when they don't purchasing and operations have to make up for inadequate time allowance with overtime or expedited shipping costs. if we can't pull the parts out of our Mary Poppins magic carpet bag then customer is not happy because our people communicating with the large accounts said short turn around deadlines could be achieved when an expensive part has a long lead time and management doesn't want to stock it based on its cost.
