- Company has maintained highest possible financial ratings over the past 5 years (current surplus account balance is greater than FDIC) - Uncapped earnings potential. - Strong training program. - Overall positive team environment.

Svantaggi

- No base salary (you will invest in the company before they invest in you). - Uncapped work hours (you will work nights and weekends.) - Management title precedes Series 7 examination sponsorship (you have to be a partner before you can take the series 7) - Disapproving market (people will tend to avoid you. They can smell insurance breath!)

Thank you for adding your feedback. However, it is not true that one must become a manager before obtaining their series 7 license. Managers are required to have the series 7 because they need it to get their series 24 license for supervisory purposes. Although reps are required to obtain their series 6 and 63 to start, many will also get their series 7 as well. The company will accept series 7 registration transfers from experienced producers and managers also.

Right out of college, I had an opportunity with the New York Life. Being young I felt that I was at a disadvantage but I worked hard, I was relentless, and ambitious. My first full year, I was able to make a six-figure income. It wasn't easy but is medical school easy? Is law school easy? The training and development at New York Life was unmatched.
