Most of the people work hard and really try to collaborate and reach goals, do their best, of course there are always a few that are more self involved around ego or drama but it is rare here.

The direction the company is taking appears to be in favor of boosting our competitors. Work smarter doesn't really apply here. If it could be made to be more challenging it often is. Would be great to simplify processes and find better synergies within teams.
