They understand that people’s families are counting on them to keep their loved ones employed. Owner knew everyone by name and worked to make them feel appreciated.

Sometimes worked too hard to keep employees that were not a good fit for role. Extremely lean environment, but they made it work.

Despite the changing landscape of the economy in the last 5 years, Nexus brought its 30 years of experience to the table and made some hard choices that resulted in many people keeping their jobs during a huge recession. Leaders are highly accessible and value innovative employees.

Financial set backs led to some employee benefit cuts, though management seems dedicated to restoring them as soon as possible.
