- Hybrid Remote (mostly remote. You might get flown in a few times a year. If you're local you'll get quite a few nudges to come into the office but it isn't mandatory) - A few good leaders still remain, but your odds of working with them are slim just by sheer numbers - Good HR team

This is for Nortal USA only. Company has changed a lot in 2 years: - Pay is about average to less than average, as of this year - Lots of non-technical managers were promoted into positions of power, resulting in shortsighted decisions that have temporary gains and then hurt everyone for years to come. Results in a lot of OT, that if you work through you will earn said terrible manager some praise, reinforcing more of the same - Lots of talk about honesty and transparency, which at one point seemed true but no longer is. Leadership is good at sounding like this is a priority but from key individuals this is clearly just lip service based on their actions and what they say behind closed doors - Leadership has a new focus on fast and 'lesser' quality, while not having the technical understanding on how to plan for that & the inability to accept the consequences outlined to them when negotiating what is/isn't important - Very "do what you're told" mentality, coming from the same short sighted individuals. These individuals will blame the team for issues that then occur from these actions, despite the warnings and trouble you faced for disagreeing to begin with

I’m also happy that you felt supported by the HR team, as well as some of our leaders. We strive to create an environment where our team feels supported by leadership and management to own their growth, and I’m sorry that wasn’t your experience as a whole with our US leaders. It’s important that individuals feel they have a voice in our organization, and we provide platforms for them to share with leaders and management both anonymously and named. Whether it is about salary, transparency, or our standards we want to know.
