Standard Club had lovely offices, especially after the move from CT and great people working there. Before the uncertainty around the merger it was one of the better P&I clubs to work for. Good facilities and location.

Systems and processes. The place feels like it is stuck in the dark ages, with archaic IT Systems in place - many of these from the CT days. A lot of us were hoping that such poor outdated tech would have disappeared as part of the merger, but (as with everything tech) there's been no progress at all. If anything it has got worse over the last three years. The old culture seems to have disappeared so quickly, although this was happening well before the merger, with more and more impeccably dressed people walking around doing nothing. Not a happy place to work and what was a stable workplace no longer feels that way. I'm one of many looking to leave.
