There are very few pros that I can think of from my time at Northgate.

There was a very high turnover of staff, and in the end I was forced out due to stress as a result of the job. Some highlights of my time there... - A sexist manager who threw tantrums - dogsbody type work given to brand new staff, anything existing staff didn’t want to do - no progression opportunities - preferential treatment for staff at the same level - bullying and harassment from colleagues, this is considered normal behaviour - colleagues throwing daily tantrums - management never on site

Bullying has no place within Northgate and will not be tolerated. There are a number of channels for all employees to speak up confidentially about any negative experience, so let me provide those to you and any other readers for information. The first port of call is always the HR Shared Services team based in Darlington. Their email address is: HumanResources@northgateplc.com and every communication is treated in strictest confidence. I would urge anyone who is feeling the way you have described to seek help from Human Resources in this way.

Pays the bills, Good BDM team.

Where to start….. Useless management. New business Team (order takers) get all the praise whilst the Account Managers do all the work. Commission structure is always tailored to New business. Paid in arrears and is always wrong, lucky if you do manage to sort it. Senior management are a waste of time, take it or leave it. Lost load of good people because of this attitude. No career progression, ones that do get promoted into seniors end up redundant. This seems to be a trend same thing every few years.
