1. Mandatory Days in office. In Summer 2024, upper management issued a RTO mandate. We were to return to the office in July 2024, after 4 years of being remote, citing better communication and calibration. Must be in the office Tuesday and Wednesday of each week. Upper Management didn't share any data behind this decision, which I doubt if there is any. And not being flexible with the days. If we can't be in the office on these days, we must use PTO. But I have seen people ignoring this and WFH at least 1-2 times per month. 2. Promotions. It is difficult to get promotions without having to relocate and very few fully remote positions. I have been looking and trying over the last 2-3 years to get a promotion (from a hourly position to a salaried position) without any luck, and no feedback. And not getting much support from Management. 3. Annual merit raises. It's difficult to get any raise more than 3% per year. Which hasn't kept up with inflation in recent years.
