Every employee is treated with respect and as part of the family. Unlike large companies that think of you as a number, Northwood puts people first.

Other than my commute, there are not any cons.

Northwood makes beautiful furniture and has some great employees

This is truly one of the most chaotic and caustic places I've experienced. Management lurches from one crisis to another with no plan or consistent process. Mike is erratic: jovial one day and screaming at employees (or customers) the next. Long-term employees generally manage to avoid his wrath but are subjected to an environment of fear and chaos. If you join Northwood, understand that your efforts to reform the company will be wasted and you will either quit in frustration or get fired on a whim.
