Vantaggi
The company is full of energetic and creative people. Many of my colleagues were eager to learn and contribute.
Svantaggi
The culture is your classic toxic startup mentality. Despite having been around for over 8 years, the company struggles to get even basic HR support functions correct. This is because they routinely fire any HR person who questions "upper management." They are very good at recruiting, but most people don't stick for more than 1 or 2 years due to the lack of planning and poor communication. My tenure saw a massive increase of new hires (whom I had to train and onboard). Within a few weeks, they all realized that they had been misled about what the company was actually doing. Most of those new hires were gone before the year was over. The company is essentially 4 companies: one in Chile / Latin America (CPG), a marketing company, a second CPG company (US & Canada) and an AI / Food tech startup. Only the marketing and AI are good, with the marketing being exceptional. The CPG companies are poorly run both from a people management perspective and from systems perspective (every branch does something different & some people just do whatever they feel like). The culture was very oppressive, always trying to squeeze more work & too many (useless) meetings while still expecting people to constantly socialize outside of working hours. Promotions were frequent for those that looked busy / demonstrated they would work hard. But rewards for good work were usually overlooked. There was also a heavy Chillen bias, so if you were not from Chille, your chances of being recognized were reduced (not that many of my Chile colleagues were treated better than myself).
