      Great benefits, wonderful hospital fitness center, friendly staff and excellent management. Wilmington is a wonderful place to live (At the beach) and they offer flexible scheduling (self-scheduling), which is great for staff morale. Wonderful doctors and it is a teaching hospital.

      They seem to always be short staffed. There are no other hospitals in town, so no competition=Pay lower than many of NC hospitals.

      Care associates are allowed to do what CNAs do, but they do not have to have the certification. Entry level pay is the same and there are equal raises between roles each year. Part time status an average of 24 hr/week, you can work more than that and you receive full benefits, two forms of bonus every year, immediate PTO (80hrs/year). 12 or 8 hour shifts available, make your own schedule
