Average rates for the questions done is really low and this is quite discouraging. I mean I have been paid $11 for an assignment of 46 questions of algebra and trigonometry. Same is the situation of my other assignment. Are they giving such low rates to everyone or just the people here in India?

Thank you for your feedback! We're in the process of reviewing our pay scales to make them as fair as possible. We want Numerade to be a way for educators to truly supplement their income. Pay is based on the level of complexity of the question; since Algebra and Trig are some of the more introductory-level content on out site, those problems are paid less than college-level physics, for example. We recently added many new "Student-Asked" questions, which are paid at a higher rate, so I encourage you to check those out! You can find them by clicking "Highest paid questions" in your educator account.

I really enjoyed my first two years at Numerade. The team was talented, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about improving education. There was a strong sense of ownership, and I had the opportunity to work on meaningful products. It was a great environment for growth.

Over time, leadership changes significantly impacted the culture. The CEO became increasingly involved in day to day decisions, leading to a more micromanaged environment. There was a noticeable lack of stability on the product side. At one point, around 8 product managers turned over within 10 months, with some leaving after only a month. This created inconsistency in direction and made it difficult for teams to build momentum. But also speaks to how difficult it was to work for this leadership. It often felt like decisions were top down, with limited room for team input. It was more of a “my way or the highway” approach from the CEO. In contrast, the CTO demonstrated stronger leadership qualities, with a more thoughtful and team oriented approach.
