Vantaggi
I learned exactly what type of company I don't want to work for.
Svantaggi
Of all the chauvinistic environments I’ve worked in, this place comes in at #1. I do NOT recommend ANYONE work for OH Partners, especially anyone that is remotely good at what they do. This place will drain you of every ounce of energy you may have had for your work. Don’t get me wrong, there are some very talented people that work for this agency but the environment does not allow for them to succeed. Everyone is unhappy and internal tensions are high. There are some at the agency that have been voicing their concerns for years, in an attempt to address the root of the many problems they are faced with every single day. Yet the Partners somehow remain clueless and act surprised when their planned after-hour happy hours don’t elevate their employee’s moods. They refuse to admit their flaws and continue to disrespect their employee’s time and effort by making the same mistakes time and time again. Ad agencies are demanding places to work, this is known. But the way OH Partners conducts business is the exact opposite of how ANY reputable company operates. They are financially in a deep hole that it does not appear they can get out of. And yet they continually blow through money and resources, forcing employees to work unnecessary, long, grueling hours as they desperately try to attract new clients at the unreasonable and irrational direction of the Partners. While at the same time, their employees have had their pay “temporarily” cut since March and they scold their teams for spending too much time working on CURRENT clients. If you are looking for a chaotic, uncontrolled, fictitious place to work that’s driven by the egos of self-absorbed white men, then OH Partners is your place. They lure employees in under false pretenses of what it’s like and boast about company culture and how great it is when in fact, it is terrible. Their CEO, Brad Casper, was the only thing they had going for them. He is a kind, empathetic, and thoughtful leader who understands what it actually takes to excel and create great work. And now, with the (forced) removal of Brad by the other 3 partners, I have little hope that this place will ever change.
