Vantaggi

If you like warehouse setting this is for you. Monthly employee appreciation.

Svantaggi

Management has poor communication. Small space barely enough room to move around. Dated system effects speed you can more at but you are held responsible when waiting 10 or more minutes for orders to pull up.

Vantaggi

Managers are great people to work for, and for a customer service job, the customers are pretty good too, since you talk to doctor's offices mostly. Clean work environment, and the company does buy lunches, ice cream, coffee etc from time to time. Quarterly bonuses based on bulk sales made by Sales Reps were nice, although very inconsistent. Health insurance isn't great, but they have some neat vision based benefits. I got a pair of top of the line glasses for only 30 or 40 dollars while working there, which they do about once a year. The bar for success is pretty low, if you are willing to put in a modicum of effort and don't mind answering and making phone calls. Pro/Con: occasional required overtime to catch up on back orders, where you were allowed to be off the phones

Svantaggi

They would share your performance stats with everyone in the office, which means if you were doing badly, everyone knew. Alternately, if you did well, you could see how much more accurate and timely your orders were, and the raises, when upper management allowed them, were given out based on seniority, not skills. For example I made 7 cents an hour less than someone who had been there 2 years and had the best statistics 4 out of 5 times. The workload constantly increases, to the point where you could tell them you had too much, and they would wait a week before giving you more. I believe this is partially due to the high turn over rate they have, which leaves them understaffed regularly. Basically no chances for moving up in the company, last promotion I heard of went to the manager's daughter, who was decent at the job, but had attendance issues (compared to hourly employee requirements). Saw a couple people leave because they were offered a new 'position' helping another (higher paid) department, but it was just additional work with no additional pay or benefits. Also, despite being in a call center and never seeing customers directly, you are required to wear business casual clothing. Didn't bother me too much, but it was kind of odd, and there was some distinct favoritism when it came to enforcing this rule. Pro/Con: occasional required overtime to catch up on back orders, where you were allowed to be off the phones
