Vantaggi

The very few pros here are is that they have flexible remote work arrangements, the CFO is amazing who will go above and beyond for you and most people are formal/profressional/nice to interact with. Now here come the cons!

Svantaggi

have never been more disrespected during my time here and then was also abruptly laid off from the company with no warning with the decision that took effect immediately. I know the team is going to see this but changes need to happen. Everything I say will be 100% truthful, factual and honest. I was only with the company for 8 months, took the TA department from a function in shambles to a strong department with very few remaining requisitions left opened. After being laid off and completely shocked with no actual reason, I did not get a chance to even talk to my team about me being let go from the company, so they think I just vanished? I did not get a chance to speak with my hiring manager/business leads I worked with about no longer being with the company, I had to email them on a private account since my email was shut down. I received an exit interview through email which is unprofessional I should have had a meet about it but then I didn’t have access to my email so I couldn’t even complete it! I was not able to speak with the candidates that I had scheduled interviews set up for the day about no longer being with the company, so that is a terrible candidate experience and thinks Open Health doesn’t care about them. No one is going to follow up with them as no one else knew I had scheduled interviews with them. Terrible! I was not able to speak with the candidates that I was at the offer stage that week that I was no longer going to be with the company. I have texts to prove from candidates saying last week “Open Health is so lucky to have you, you are such an amazing person” then boom I get laid off and I no longer can help that person I just convinced for a month to join Open Health and how “wonderful” the company is. I realize this is a long review but there is just so much wrong with the situation/company/HR function. I asked to be given a severance and I have still not received an answer yet a week later, they clearly do not care about recently affected employees this is absolutely ridiculous. It is despicable to see how I have been treated. - Leadership doesn’t care about you, they will use you up until they don’t need you anymore - There is no accountability and the company promotes known bullies/problem causers - Lot of people have left, lot of turn over - Encountered disrespect on at-least 3 occasions - Worst culture out of any company I have worked at - Everyone just passes around responsibility, so many unorganized people - Never felt “great” working here, very uneasy feeling - More money driven than caring about employees Would recommend people going to work “in the industry” rather than in this consulting company I will never ever recommend anyone ever working here. Worst company I have ever worked out. They did me a favor by laying me off!

Great place. Been here almost 5 years. Highly recommend.

Svantaggi

Well, it's been a bit tumultuous in the industry of late, but I think we're being navigated ably through it.

Vantaggi

You get to work from home. That is the only benefit.

Svantaggi

You will work overtime without compensation every single day. When it comes time for a raise you will consistently get below industry standard with no ability to negotiate or talk to the decision makers (they will just email you from an address you can not respond to, to avoid the chance that you may counter). When it comes time for a promotion they will give you a new salary that matches the position below your new one, and again, will give you no opportunity to negotiate or discuss your insulting raise. There are no bonuses at all, so get that notion out of your mind. Executive leadership cares more about creating acronyms than actually resourcing departments appropriately. And the moment you show a willingness to go above and beyond, instead of rewarding you, they will simply give you more responsibility with no additional compensation. I was recently promoted, and am now making the salary I should have been making in my last position. I had one of the VP’s at the company recently tell me that I should be making 30k more at least, and to start looking for a new job because this company doesn’t care about retaining talented employees.
