Vantaggi

The pay was pretty decent and the commission was alright ( if they even distribute the commission correctly which they usually don')

Svantaggi

Absolutely everything else. Even before my employment started there was a plethora of red flags. First the job was advertised under the AT&T website and when you hit apply it just sends you to some third party website, that being OSL. I found this a little misleading and yes this company is partnered with several mobile services you aren't working for them like the job posting would have you to believe. The second red flag was once I finished the first interview I was told by the person interviewing me that the DM would contact me in a few days for a follow up interview. A week later and I haven't received a word so I'm having to track down the person who I initially interviewed with just to find this guy. I found that absolutely absurd because why am I have to chase people down when the company is the only looking for people to hire. Even when the DM finally contacted me it was a struggle to even get him to answer the phone as every time he said he was available he would never respond. The only reason I didn't give up on this garbage job was because I was desperate. Most of my problems stem from the DM who is the most inept, unprofessional, frustrating person I've ever worked with. I asked beforehand what my schedule was going to be for my training and what time I was supposed to be at my location but of course he never responded and one the day I'm supposed to report in he sends me a text an hour before I start that I need to come in to start instead of giving my this information beforehand. Once I arrived I never got my shirt (I was told I was going to get it in a few days and never received it) the training was complete trash and I spent most of the time sitting by myself at the electronics section with nothing to do since there wasn't anyone around in a higher position to train me. Overall just one of the worst job experiences I've had in my life and I'm so glad I got out when I did this job is trash is every way possible. Terrible training, failing company whose entire existence revolved around scamming people with trash 3rd party options, management is dogshit with the worst people working there and impossible sales goal that you or your team will never meet. Do yourself a favor and never work for this company under any circumstances even if you are desperate. Find something else that is actually stable and where you can actually get a hold of a manager. Oh and please do not purchase anything from OSL if you need a device look anywhere else but here.

Vantaggi

Easy job application, in an world where "no answer" job listings and automated ATS rejections are an all-time high Commission that allows you to earn an extra $400-800 for top-performing Mobile Experts. Check out as many cables, cases, and chargers, they add up! Isn't really physically demanding for a $14-15 dollar job. 50% discount on AT&T, Verizon, and a lifetime 20% discount on T-Mobile with Experience More/Beyond plans.

Svantaggi

Very luck-based. This job is more luck-based than skill based. Therefore, it easily ends up to where most locations that have the best sales are ones that have the highest demand for phones. In my district, one location barely gets any sales because of nobody wanting to work there and lack of demand. Customers will get denied very frequently, especially with the "Call Wireless Order Support" denial which is on the carrier's end, and the red "Sorry..." denial, the latter where Walmart declines it for potential "fraud" and the T-Mobile denial stating "customer not approved for carrier installment plan". District Managers encourage Mobile Experts to lie about the first bill to flip prepaid to postpaid. I strongly recommend T-Mobile as it doesn't have the activation fee for Android phones. Verizon also has the highest price which makes them not recommended for lower-end Android phones but better for iPhones, considering it'd always be more expensive to go with Straight Talk upfront than postpaid.
