      I left a larger bank to work here. OceanFirst retains many of the advantages of a larger bank, while maintaining a friendly, community bank feel and atmosphere, both with our customers and internally. I'm relatively new, but I chose to join the team because of the competitive benefits and compensation, the excellent staff, a recommendation from a former coworker and a current coworker, and the bank's excellent reputation among friends and family. I'm excited to grow my career here!

      Some of the internal IT interfaces aren't as slick as they could be, but that's true of a lot of banks, I've found, and I know we're working on upgrades to the experience, so I'm looking forward to that!

      Oceanfirst Bank provides a great orientation and welcome to new hires. They have a friendly and warm environment for new hires to become accustomed to the workplace and give ample guidance and resources in order to learn and apply new and relevant skills.

      The orientation process at OceanFirst Bank was exceptionally well executed. It created a welcoming, non-intimidating environment where interns were introduced to the company’s culture and daily operations. Senior leaders—including the CEO, treasurer, and other top executives—took the time to speak about their roles and their contributions to fostering that culture. Interns were also given valuable opportunities to network and connect with one another. Overall, the experience was both engaging and highly enjoyable.
