I found the application process with Octopus to be quite refreshing. Having previously sat through quite mundane interview processes, my experience with Octopus was all positive. Right from the initial call with Egle through to being offered the job, everyone was was friendly and honest. Egle deserves a special mention for the exceptional level of support and guidance I received along the way. She was clear and concise while also offering praise and encouragement. This really helped me to be the best version of myself for the later stages. It took me about 3 weeks to complete the process but this is definitely necessary because it sounds like there is lots to learn. They want to ensure they hire the right people for the job!

Honestly, I can't think of too many Cons at all. The one thing I found quite scary initially was joining the Discovery Day with 20+ people on the call but after the icebreaker these nerves were alleviated.
