Svantaggi
Gap as a whole is performing poorly as a retail company and is definitely felt throughout the company. The worst is yet to come, I predict. Working at Old Navy in management will cause you to have no work/life balance. Even though I was hourly, I often worked off the clock and at home to get the tasks done. Technology is a joke and POS is so slow and old with constant glitches. There's been a glitch in the system for months so you can't look up customers online merchandise purchases with their credit/debit card causing customer issues constantly. Corporate customer service is a joke and often clueless. Standards are impossible to keep with amount of payroll given. Constant floor moves almost daily and having to take merchandising plans from prototype stores and making them work into an older ON store was a constant struggle. Throughout the week, upper field is ready to jump on you, for having a late sales read on SLACK or not responding back instantly. Management at my store was just one clique and I was the unpopular kid back in high school again that wasn't one of the "cool" kids. Constant job openings in management...there is a reason why! Think first before taking a position here. After restructuring of store management teams, this senior leader position has NO input into the schedule or hiring functions. This is not like a majority of retail stores. This made me feel like I was a glorified department manager instead of a senior leader in the store consistently.
