Lots of change in recent years, but this has created more opportunities than ever for cutting edge work within OneShield. AI is unlocking new product development even for most junior employees and shrinking time spent on less exciting tasks.

Cultural changes around AI and speed of innovation have been welcome for most, but are not for everyone.

Some of the people are good. Not much else is positive.

At OneShield, employees are treated as numbers—inputs into whatever metric leadership is focused on that week, whether it’s revenue per employee or the total number of AI bros. When your “number” no longer fits, you’re laid off. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, whether you consistently meet deadlines, put in long hours, or show genuine dedication. Those contributions don’t factor into their decisions. Leadership is focused on metrics, not people. Morale is low, and the environment is unstable.
